We are all helping many families
.supported by Israel's youth
We are a group of students, and a few years ago we discovered that there are many families around the country who .don't even have what to eat
We took on ourselves the responsibility and we founded the z'chut horim' charity
We started as a charity in Yeshivat Makor Chaim in Gush Etzion and we started to slowly grow. Today the charity has 8 branches, in 8 different high schools. In the charity there are about 500 volunteers, who deliver food packages to over 80 families every week
Lately, we have been approached many times
One reason is to add more families. Another is from other students, who are interested in joining this enormous cycle of giving, and be a part of the social change which is currently happening. We thought that instead of just helping the families now, we want to help their children get out of this state. We decided that we want to create after school learning institutions for these families children. At these learning centers the children will receive strong learning habits, and a push for success in the future, a push that most of these children don't receive at home. The attention and motivation that these children will receive will lead them to success, and help them get out of this cycle of poverty.
Therefore, we are doing a big project.We'll be happy if you will donate.
